OUR REAL LIFE MOM
C is for Clean was started by Maggie McKeown, who, like you, was looking for a natural cleaning solution for her family. Born and raised in Toronto, Maggie studied at the University of Toronto before graduating from the Culinary Institute of America in New York. She's worked as a Senior Food Specialist and national spokesperson for Kraft Canada, as well as co-owner and Executive Chef of Great Cooks Canada's leading independent cooking school. She has developed hundreds of recipes for food companies and has contributed to What's Cooking, Canada's largest food magazine, in addition to Wine Tidings and other publications. She has appeared on television and radio programs, including Cityline, Rogers Daytime and CBC Radio, and most recently on season one and two of Recipe to Riches which airs on Global and the Food Network.

Maggie has used her extensive culinary background to launch C is for Clean. Initially researching the history of cleaning and taking courses on creating non toxic cleaning products. To her surprise many of the products found in the everyday kitchen were some of the best ingredients to clean with. It has taken Maggie many tries and many years to come up with a formula that is effective. Having mastered the art of food and wine pairing, she began adding fragrant combinations of essential oils to create C is for Clean's irresistible scents. 

Each batch of cleaning products is hand crafted to ensure the highest quality. All of C is for Clean's products are made and tested by real moms, and approved by real kids.
